Even if I'm not active in the fandom, I'm still a Harry Potter fan!

Make Me Choose Meme

* Hermione Granger or Ronald Weasley

* Avada Kedavra or Expelliarmus (it's such a central spell in the story... and it's what makes it more than a fairytale!)

* Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone, or Invisibility cloak (wandering in Hogwarts under it must be so fun!)

* Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Gryffiindor

* Dumbledore's Army or The Order of the Phoenix

* The first or the last Harry Potter film

* Diagon Alley or Hogsmead (I'm a shopping girl!)

* Yule Ball or Bill and Fleur’s wedding

* House Cup or the Triwizard Tournament

* Potions or Defence Against the Dark Arts

* Dragons or house-elves

* The Seven Horcrux or the Three Deathly Hallows

* Qudditch or Hogwarts Express (I love trains!)

* Polyjuice Potion, Patronus charm, or unforgivable curses (I want to know what mine would be!)

* Death eaters or Dementors

* Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, or Salazar Slytherin

* Order of the Phoenix or Goblet of Fire

* Minerva Mcgonagall or Albus Dumbledore (I really like the fact that he's flawed and not as straight as he seems... pun intended!)

* Bellatrix Lestrange or Narcissa Malfoy

* Ron/Hermione or Harry/Ginny (Ron/Hermione is meant to be from the first time they meet... Harry/Ginny seems very boring to me)

* Thestral or Hippogriff

* Sirius Black’s motorbike or the Ford Anglia

* Godric’s Hollow or the Burrow (the place is so homey!)

* Neville Longbottom or Harry Potter (I love sidekicks and antihero)

* James and Lily or Snape and Lily

* The Golden Trio or the Silver Trio

* Remus Lupin or Sirius Black (T_T)

* Severus Snape or Draco Malfoy (Always...)

* The Malfoys or the Weasleys

* Love potions or the time turner (Even if it's a little frightening!)

* The Tale of the Three Brothers, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, or Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (I love how "classical" it felt!)

I've got my computer back from the after-sales service on Thursday! With all my data intact!! *happy dances* Ensue a big backup this week-end to avoid that stress again!

Yesterday, I was supposed to work in the morning (we have to work on three Saturday morning by year) then have lunch with my bestfriend and do some shopping. Everything was cancelled by a thick layer of snow :(

It seems like I can't write anymore again T_T

Top 5 by kudos :

Five persons Merlin envied before he was finally blissfully happy

A fic written for the prompt "Envy" on [livejournal.com profile] camelot_drabble
It seems like people love angst that leads to a happy ending! And some hinted mpreg! ;-)

What if...

A little drabble written after having listened to a French song. Magic reveal and cuteness.

Life changing surprise

The first part of my Surprise series. All the parts have been written for [livejournal.com profile] camelot_drabble
Once again mpreg seems to be quite loved in the Merlin fandom!

Mpreg drabbles

Mpreg is also popular in the Football RPF it seems!
A small series of drabble about Cristiano Ronaldo and Mesut Ozil.

For the fifth place there is a draw so here are the two fics :

The most dangerous and awful creature ever

A funny drabble written for [livejournal.com profile] camelot_drabble again!

Santa's Gift

Written for the Holiday Exchange on [livejournal.com profile] camelot_drabble last year. Christmas fluff and Arthur reincarnation!

Globally, I'm glad my Merlin drabbles are loved. I'm just a little disappointed to see that my longer fics arent in that top 5 as I've worked longer on them.
aeris444: (arthur)
So here are more answers!

[livejournal.com profile] dylan_mx asked for Q. Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

I mostly write following the chronological order. Sometimes, if I have a whole scene written in my head but that will go later in the story, I'll write it down not to forget it but I just can't manage scenes written out of order!

T. Describe your perfect writing conditions.

This one is really hard for me because I still haven't found my "perfect" writing condition. I mostly write in the evening (when I'm working) but sometimes during the day (when I'm on holiday). I like to write when I'm alone and to have some sweet coffee beverage near me. Though, I mostly write when I have some inspiration regardless of the circumstances!

[livejournal.com profile] osky291 asked for D. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?

At the moment, I have two beginnings of a fic waiting in my folders (and a lot of plot bunnies running everywhere!).
The first one is about Arthur as a recently divorced businessman and Merlin as a pizza guy!
The second one (who will be longer) is about Merlin who just lost is bestfriend Will in an homophobic murder. Merlin is also gay. All his friends are trying to comfort him but in the end, Merlin only wants Arthur near him. Merlin didn't know that Arthur is gay, too. (this one is still blurry because at first I wanted it to be a Percival/Merlin but I was afraid not to have many readers so it became a Merthur fic!)

She also asked for AB. Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.

This one is hard, too! Here are three writes I love but there many more!

[livejournal.com profile] bunnysworld I love her short fics! They're always funny or full of emotions! She often makes me laugh and she captures the character very well even in short works!

[livejournal.com profile] astolat I love her Canon and Canon!Au fics so much! I'm so sad she's not writing Merlin fics anymore!

[livejournal.com profile] mrs_leary I'm deeply in love with each of her Brolin's fics! They're all different from kinky to funny or more deep!

And also, a special mention to [livejournal.com profile] brunettepet who always write wonderful short drabbles for Camelot Drabble!

The last one : W. If you were to revise one of your older fics from start to finish, which would it be and why?

I'm not in the Merlin's fandom for that long so my style haven't changed that much... Though, I think that A coffee, an apple muffin and your love, please! could have been longer and more developed!
aeris444: (arthur)
Here are my answers to your questions!

[livejournal.com profile] sp_owl asked for A. Describe your comfort zone—a typical you-fic.
A Merthur or Brolin fic. Something fluffy or angsty but with a happy end. More focused on the action and dialogue than on descriptions. I also love five times fics!

[livejournal.com profile] rotrude asked for U. How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?
I'm not a very picky writer, I'm more on the impulsive side when I write. So if it's a drabble or a short fic, I'll read it once and then send it to my beta and revise it once. If it's a longer fic, I'll probably revise it once or twice during writing before sending it to my beta and sometimes after I've revised it, I'll send it again for another betaing but that's all.

[livejournal.com profile] hart_d asked for O. If you could choose one of your fics to be filmed, which would you choose?
Probably "I"m here to stay", a RPS fic (Colin/Bradley and Colin/Eoin) because a depressed Colin would be wonderful to watch! And it's also my longest fic!

[livejournal.com profile] sparksfly7 asked for M. What’s the best writing advice you’ve ever come across?
I don't remember where I found it (probably tumblr) but it says something along the lines of "Don't follow any writing advices". For me, writing is a pleasure and I don't want to have to follow rules and "do and don't". I think that, even if there are great advices all around the net, sometimes you just need to do it like you want, like you feel it.

She also asked for AL. Talk about a review that made your day.
I've just recently received a message (yes, not even a comment but a message) from a reader who said that she (?) haven't read any fic in a long time but that my last Brolin fic (How to become Mr. Colin Morgan-James in five steps) was too hard to resist! It just made me so happy that, from all the great and wonderful fics available, that was mine who made her wants to read again!

Here we are!

If you want more answers, feel free to ask me more questions! They're here!
aeris444: (arthur)
I'm just so happy that I finally found a shop in my town that sells Yankee Candles!
10377524_10204899489111643_9092660798324753549_n
I've chosen two small jars : Clean Cotton and Sicilian Lemon. Then the lady offered me a tart and I've chosen the Christmas rose one.

Feel free to ask me as much question as you want!

A. Describe your comfort zone—a typical you-fic.

G. Share a snippet from one of your favorite pieces of prose you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
H. Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
